I would like to file a formal complaint regarding the cashiers at the Salahuddin branch, who have been displaying a negative attitude towards customers and showing a lack of respect. Why are you tolerating such behavior from these employees? They act as though they are the managers or owners of Gift Village. Two of the cashiers are from the Philippines, and one appears to be from India. One incident involved the Indian cashier, her name is SANDUNI MAHESHIKA, telling a customer, 'Next time, use the trolley, and if you don’t, you’ll have to pay.' Who are you to speak to a customer like that?! You didn’t even take the time to properly confirm the situation, instead making assumptions. After the customer left, you continued to speak badly about them to others. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. Additionally, there was an incident with two Filipina cashiers, their names are LIZA LAURENTE and CATHERINE. One of them mistakenly scanned items twice, and when the customer returned to inform her of the error and requested a refund for the incorrectly charged amount, this Filipina cashier responded, 'It’s always the Filipinos who come back to complain and ask for money, even for a small amount.' Who are you to speak to a customer like that?! Instead of apologizing for her mistake, she made an inappropriate and disrespectful remark. This is completely unprofessional. Furthermore, another Filipina cashier failed to provide the customer with a receipt. When the customer returned to ask for it, instead of apologizing for the mistake and assisting in providing the receipt, this cashier said, 'Why are you coming back now to ask for the receipt? I’m leaving, it’s my break time.' Who are you to speak to the customer like that? The situation worsened when she added, 'I already threw the receipt away, go and find it yourself in the garbage can,' before handing the garbage can to the customer to look through. Imagine that! A cashier giving the customer the garbage can to search through for the receipt. This is not only shameful but also a clear sign of a complete lack of respect for customers.
