I purchased a Samsung Front Load Washer sold by TEQ SOUQ ELECTRONICS via Sharaf DG. The unit was delivered on Friday with a significant physical dent. This is a clear Dead on Arrival (DOA) case, yet the support has been non-existent. Major Issues: Unacceptable Timelines: They are demanding 10–15 working days for "supplier verification" before processing a refund for a brand-new, damaged product. Stalling Tactics: Support refuses to provide a collection date, repeatedly claiming "the team is off on Sunday" while they continue to hold my AED 860.00. Poor Logistics: Despite the item being heavy (7kg), they refuse to confirm a 2-man pickup team or a specific time slot. Bot-like Service: Agents only offer scripted apologies like "adding a note" or "expediting" without any actual resolution. It has been several days with no working machine. I am now filing a formal complaint with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (Consumer Rights). Avoid this platform; unlike Amazon or Noon, Sharaf DG fails to protect customers from marketplace seller errors.
