I gave my car for servicing and was initially quoted AED 15,993. After multiple discussions, the amount was later reduced to AED 5,400, which already raised concerns about pricing consistency. During the process, I was repeatedly asked for payment before the work was completed. Just before delivery, I was informed that an additional amount was required for an engine pulley replacement. When I visited the workshop to see the issue, I was not shown the vehicle. I requested that the car be returned without replacing the pulley, but delivery was refused unless I signed an undertaking absolving the workshop of responsibility. This back-and-forth continued for nearly two weeks, causing significant inconvenience. Eventually, the manager intervened and appeared unaware of how the matter had been handled earlier. I agreed to proceed with the pulley replacement in order to collect my vehicle. At delivery, I was not provided with a proper VAT invoice. I was told the printer was not working, and the invoice was printed on plain paper without an official stamp, despite repeated requests. Overall, the experience was extremely stressful and time-consuming. I would strongly recommend that customers clarify scope of work, pricing, documentation, and delivery conditions in writing before proceeding, and ensure the workshop is fully transparent before handing over their vehicle.

I purchased a 10-service preventive maintenance contract, and it was a complete disappointment. Services were delayed or incomplete, reports were late and missing critical issues, and I was quoted overpriced repairs. Communication was poor, and the staff were unprofessional. I do not recommend this service—avoid it at all costs. Don’t use them

Here is my 2nd review, after having worst past experience. 1st service contract is totally scam pls don’t even think to take it. Because there are things which is hidden. In major service they mention disk skimming free its come under labor not part sk they have sent me bill of aed 200 and more 200 for pad skimming. These guys are very unprofessional, give u false commitment. I clearly told them i want my car same day else i can do service from outside which i was doing even after taking service contract because of my 1st worst experience thinking my money has been looted from 800car guru. But no surprise i keep on chasing them to get car back they never bother to reply. I am attaching some whats app chat u can see else they come on my comment and say don’t lie u never come and all. So guys i have inform all my friend circle no to get in trap of 800 car guru. Rest its your choise.

The worst company I have ever dealt with in terms of car service or battery replacement. Nobody answers the phone, they keep delaying everything, and they are completely unprofessional. They do not honor the service package I already purchased from them. Truly the worst company ever—I am very disappointed. I strongly recommend saving your money and paying a bit more elsewhere rather than dealing with them.

Bonnet was not even opened and they lied to me that the car was ready.. they didnt even know the issue despite me voice messaging on all their nos. Finally I just took my car as it is and lost over 1500 aed.. most rude customer service esp someone called dilnawaz

I assumed my experience was peculiar until I started reading from other dissatisfied customers. I took my car for normal service, Bilal called me to tell me I needed to change my tyres. I paid for the tyres as well as other service charges. The car was delivered well after the promised delivery date. Everytime I start the car, the dashboard shows I need to service the car. This was frustrating because I did not even have this message before I took it to Carguru. I honestly think the government should investigate this company as such practices ruin the Dubai brand

I recently experienced a car battery failure and contacted your service through my insurance provider. Later your technician arrived in 1 hour and replaced the battery. During the payment process, I received a call from your customer care team offering a service package that includes six services (2 major, 4 minor) within 50,000 km for AED 1,800+. I was informed that subscribing to this package would make the battery replacement complimentary, along with other benefits. At the time, this seemed like a valuable offer. However, I would like to share some concerns regarding the experience that followed: • My experience after subscribing to the package has been less satisfactory, particularly in terms of clarity and customer communication. • The verbal explanation provided by your representative included several benefits that were not reflected in the written contract. This discrepancy was disappointing and left me feeling misled. I requested cancellation of the package as I have not yet availed of any services. I also assured your team that the cost of the battery has already been covered through the first instalment, which exceeds the battery’s actual cost. Unfortunately, my request was not accepted. I hope you understand my position and the importance of transparent communication in maintaining customer trust. I would appreciate it if you could reconsider the cancellation request or offer a resolution that reflects fairness and goodwill.

Horrible and worst service ever. I sent my car to fix and after charging me they returned it without fixing. I was promised it would take a day however took three days. They kept the car for 2 days and then started the job. No proper communication and zero customer service

This is the second time I have sent my car in to them under the service contract I now wish I never bought. The first time they came back with a huge list of issues and took 3 days to return my car after I declined half of what they said were major issues. This time they again sent a long list of issues but amazingly never mentioned any of the previous issues that they claimed were wrong the last time the car went in even though they were never fixed. They even tried to charge me for a tyre puncture when there were no issues with my tyres before sending it to them. I approved some of it and paid and was told I would have my car back by Tuesday evening. It’s now Friday and still no car. After messaging continuously and nobody replying or giving me any update about when my car will be returned, I am told them are still waiting for parts. The only part I approved to be replaced was a radiator hose and ac/ cabin filters which apparently takes 3 days to order. The customer service is terrible and the prices are drastically inflated. I strongly suggest looking at the real reviews and the low ratings to see exactly what most people experience. The company should focus on customer service which currently is non existent, from the ignored messages by the floor supervisor to the ignored message by the agent Bejoy who stopped giving any customer service as soon as he had received the payment for the work they say needed to be done. I have now lodged an official complaint with consumer rights to ensure they start investigating issues like this that so many people are experiencing. I truly hope the company looks at its internal operations and improves it considering they claim to be one of the top repair shops in the UAE yet a quick google search shows otherwise. I will be cancelling my service contract and would rather lose out on what I have already paid than risk sending my car to them again.

This is factual and non defamatory. I have raised an official complaint with the ministry of economy relating to my Most recent “major service” and experience with this company. My car was taken for the service and I was given a quote to fix for 4K which was paid in full. The car was returned. I tried to drive my car and there was an awful noise so I took it home and it was collected again. I was told it needed further repairs and that they had forgotten to check it before it was returned. The communication has been zero despite now having the complaints managers direct line. I was then informed they had fitted the incorrect part to my car. I have repeatedly asked for a timeline and a full engine compression and diagnostic check to ensure no further damage has occurred which has gone unanswered. My car has been with them for a week and I have had no response with regards to compensation. I do not recommend at all. I am really upset and cannot trust that my car will be safe even when returned so will have to pay for another garage to check it, if and when it is returned.

One of the worst experience , worst customer service , this guys took my car one week ago for a major service and didnt return i was without car, for whole eid holidays one bilal the worst relationship manager promosed to return the car before eid holidays but block my number . Tried their toll free number but no proper response when i asked the manager number they didnt share , only give some Ibrahim name as local sponsor . These people are cheaters still i am wothout my car

الحقيقه ان الخدمة عندهم أصبحت سيئة جدا و غير صادقين على الإطلاق منذ اكثر من شهر احاول معهم حتى يقوموا باصلاح السياره بعد ان أرسلت سيارتي لهم للصيانة الدوريه و بعد ان استلمت السيارة ظهرت عندي مجموعة مشاكل لم تكن أصلا موجوده و منذ اكثر من شهر انتظر اعادة تصليح السيارة و تحورهم اصبحت غاليه جدا و مبالغ فيها و حتى مستوى الخدمة سيء جدا لاسف ،،، very bad service ,, I can’t trust them again ,, mechanical work very bad ,, very expensive ,, I am waiting more than 1 month to repair my car and they promise every day ,, they cheated me

If you want to scrap your car, send it to the Car Guru Service Center. I had one of the worst service experiences at Car Guru Service Center. I gave my car for servicing, mainly to fix an issue where the tire was getting damaged at the edge. Unfortunately, instead of resolving this issue, they diagnosed ten other unrelated problems, fixed them, and charged me for all of it, but the original tire and hub issue was never resolved, even though I was billed for it. I was told the car would be ready in three days, but it took over six. During that time, I had to call over a hundred times just to get an update. Despite full payment, no one answered my calls or responded to messages — not the advisor, not even the manager. No one took responsibility at any point. When I finally got my car back, it came with new problems that weren’t there before: the AC wasn’t cooling, there was abnormal noise from the front tire hubs when reversing, and the steering had noticeable vibration. I now need to take the car to a professional workshop to fix what they damaged, after paying AED 2,700 for what they call “service.” When I asked for a detailed report of the work done, they refused to provide it. After I left a low rating on Google, I received a call from a manager who asked me to visit the workshop again, promising to handle the issue personally. After a lengthy discussion with the so-called “Customer Happiness Manager,” I agreed to bring the car in the following week. I informed them on the morning of my visit that I’d be coming. However, when I arrived at the workshop and tried to contact the manager who had called me, there was no response. After waiting for 30 minutes, the manager finally called back — only to ask me to wait another 15 minutes because they were on a break. That was the last straw. I left the place, completely frustrated, realizing that this is their standard of service.

Absolutely disappointed with Car Guru – completely irresponsible service. I handed over my car on May 2nd, with a clear request and confirmation to have it returned on May 3rd. I even followed up with the advisor on the morning of the 3rd and was reassured it would be delivered on time. However, by evening, there was still no update. I had to call them again, and the advisor promised to call me back — but never did. Trying to reach them via their 800 number was pointless, as it gets redirected to a battery shop with no proper support. No manager was available to take responsibility either. Now, I might get my car on Monday, but based on past poor experiences with their delays, I have serious doubts. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. I do not recommend this garage at all.

I brought my car to 800 Car Guru on March 27th to fix a leak. When the car was returned to me on April 9th, the entire front end was damaged. I provided clear proof that the damage happened while the car was in their care, and they acknowledged it. However, it’s now been weeks, and they still haven’t fixed it, claiming they don’t have the parts. I found another garage that could source the parts immediately. Meanwhile, I’ve been paying for taxis every day, and they refused to offer any compensation or provide a rental. Extremely disappointing experience.

Poor communication Fail to fulfil the commitment I had to go physically there to take my car out and told them not to fix it just my car and spare parts will fix with someone else..coz wat was suppose to be dleivered to me on saturday i had to force them to return my car on monday coz they told me the apre parts are not rradyy they will gice my car monday evenin 7pm and i was at their office the sameday at 9 am and i didnt believe them coz the same was tols to me in saturday..however i was told my one of the incharge that they will get my car in 20 minutes after i told them i dnt want to check or maintain my car wit them..i agreed..i got my car after 4 hrs ....

I gave my car for a minor service, they share me a inspection report and shared the quotation for repairs. There are no major issues in the car, so i asked them to just do the minor service. I think they didn't like that. Literally they didn't even change engine oil for the car. I have taken a premium service contract. I have done a major service previously with them and even then they charged me a fortune saying that there are major repairs to be done.

Absolutely HORRIBLE service. First of all took 3:30 minutes to get to my vehicle then left me with a battery that clearly needed replacing even though it was under warranty. DONOT USE THIS SERVICE

Worst service center in UAE, I did the contract with them and every time I send the car it come back worse than how I handed over, even last time they did radiator work and next day the water started leaking and the car got smoke in the middle of the street, after back and forth I returned the car to fix and they came back asking for extra charges to fix even it was handed over to them at the first time with no significant issue

I sold my car because of their poor service. My car was running smoothly, so I signed up for their service contract. During the first service, which should have been a routine oil and filter change, their sales team contacted me to report an oil leak that needed fixing. They kept my car for over 20 days, promising daily that it would be returned soon. Every few days, they’d inform me of a new issue. When I finally went there, I found my car completely disassembled, with no clear explanation of what they were doing. After paying them over AED 7,000, I took my car back, only to discover the oil leak still wasn’t fixed—it only cost AED 100 to repair it elsewhere. However, they had damaged my car’s compressor, costing me an additional AED 2,000 to fix. When I drove it afterward, the car just wasn’t in the same condition as before, and I eventually had to sell it at a loss. Their manager, Arslan, admitted his team had damaged my car and promised to refund at least the service contract fees, but after a month of false promises, nothing happened. If you want your car ruined, definitely take it to them.

The biggest Scam and money making car service company in Dubai. I paid for a package service that wasn't cheap at all! Found out they only did service the cars in Dubai. A little van can come do an oil change and very basic things in Abu Dhabi. When you manage to go do a service to your car in Dubai,they will find things that need fixing and charge you an astronomical amount. They don't pick up on Sunday. So,if you breakdown,you are stuck with no support.
