We strongly advise caution when dealing with Nazco Foodstuff Trading LLC. We exported a shipment to them under agreed terms, with the Bill of Lading (BL) to be surrendered only upon payment. However, the consignee took unauthorized possession of our cargo without us surrendering the BL—an act in clear violation of standard trade practices and our contractual agreement. In addition, the payment for this shipment has been overdue by over 60 days as per the purchase contract, despite multiple written follow-ups and reminders. This has caused significant financial and operational losses to us. We have raised the matter with DGFT, MEA and Dubai Chambers. This incident reflects a serious breach of trust and disregard for agreed payment and cargo release terms. We urge other exporters to exercise extreme due diligence and secure their payment and documentation terms before engaging with this company. We will update this review if the matter is resolved amicably.
