I would like to register my utter dismay at the highly unprofessional and lethargic attitude displayed by Dubai Manufacturing Co. LLC, the seller of mattresses under the brand name SERTA and KING KOIL. I purchased a SERTA mattress which, within a reasonable span of time, developed sagging issues. Upon contacting the company, instead of being offered a fair and professional solution, I was told that the repair cost would be nearly double the original purchase price—a suggestion that is both absurd and insulting to any reasonable customer. After much back and forth, their Sales Department agreed to a repair at a cost acceptable to both parties. Shockingly, they later reneged on this agreement, claiming that their Production Department did not approve, and refused to honor the commitment. Such conduct is nothing short of duplicitous — making promises only to retract them later is the hallmark of an untrustworthy company. Equally disgraceful is the behavior of their representatives. The Retail Sales Manager, Mr. Nitesh Kumar, avoids addressing the core issue and diverts the discussion to unrelated matters, reflecting a lack of professionalism. More disappointing is that my direct email to the Managing Director, Mr. Sundarajan, went unanswered, with no acknowledgment or response. He wouldn’t respond to me directly. This level of apathy and arrogance toward customers is appalling. From my experience, this company operates with a “sell once and abandon the customer” attitude. They lure buyers with promises but fail miserably when it comes to after-sales service. To me, this is nothing short of cheating. I strongly caution prospective buyers: do not waste your money on SERTA mattresses from Dubai Manufacturing Co. LLC. Dubai offers plenty of reputable alternatives. Protect yourself from the frustration, negligence, and unethical behavior that I experienced. My sincere advice: avoid SERTA or the products from Dubai Furniture Manufacturing Co. LLC, at all costs. It is up to you to make the decision.
