Warning: Avoid This Garage – Unprofessional, Overpriced, and Completely Irresponsible
This garage is only interested in taking your money.
After my car overheated, a recovery service sent it to 800MotorGuru. One of their representatives even called me personally, identified my Toyota Echo Car, and sent me their location, acting as if they were prepared to help. But once I arrived, things changed fast.
Suddenly, he began making excuses, claiming "we normally don’t work on old cars like this, but we’re doing it just for you." This was a clear contradiction, the same person had earlier acknowledged my car model on the phone before I even arrived. Now, he was playing games and trying to make it look like he was doing me a favor just to justify overcharging. That’s blatant manipulation during a moment when I was already in a tough situation.
Despite knowing the actual cost of a radiator (i replaced it last year), I was quoted double the price. Still, I agreed just to get it done and get back on the road as i am already in trouble and they are taking benefit of your trouble.
Next day when i came to garage to collect the car he said we tested properly twice even in the morning as well But within 20 minutes of driving the car, the same overheating problem happened again. When I tried to contact them, they claimed they were closed, even though it was before 7 PM, and I had already called in advance. After that, they completely ignored my calls. No accountability. No support.
I had no choice but to arrange a recovery from Dubai to Ajman (at my own cost) to a trusted mechanic, who quickly diagnosed the real issue a fault in the car’s computer system, which 800MotorGuru failed to detect entirely. Their incompetence could have left me stranded or damaged the car further.
For two days now, I’ve tried to contact them, and the responses have been vague, evasive, and unprofessional. I have screenshots to prove their careless attitude and lack of follow-through.
This company is dishonest, careless, and untrustworthy. They took my money, lied about their capabilities, failed to fix the actual issue, and then ignored me. Stay far away — they are not here to help, only to profit off your problems.
