It was my first time visiting this salon, and I came in for a trim and hair color (shade no. 8) without bleach. They offered me a 149 AED package that included hair color, cut, spa, and blow dry. I specifically mentioned the color I wanted without bleaching. Instead of acknowledging my request and offering alternatives, they immediately rejected it, insisting bleach was necessary.
I tried to explain that I understood the result wouldn’t be as light, and I was okay with that, but I still wasn’t given options. In the end, I settled for a different brown-blonde shade that didn’t require bleach, but I wasn’t really happy with the outcome. On top of that, I asked them to keep my curls, but after cutting, they went ahead and blow-dried and ironed my hair anyway.
What I did appreciate was the calm atmosphere. The salon wasn’t crowded, which made it more relaxing compared to other busy spots in Al Rigga Road.
Overall, my experience was average. A little more listening and flexibility to customer preferences would really improve the service. I might come back to try their mani and pedi services to see if those are a better fit for me, otherwise I’ll likely stick with my original salon.
