⚠️ WARNING: Very bad experience with Qamar Al Khaleej Workshop (Sharjah, Industrial Area 17, Warehouse 40).
I gave my car to this workshop for engine mounting and service. Roshan promised me the car would be ready in 3–4 hours the same day, and he kept repeating “trust me”. Instead, he kept my car for 10 days without proper updates.
During this time:
• He often didn’t answer my calls or WhatsApp messages.
• When I visited the workshop, the staff behaved as if they were working for free and gave no proper attention.
• They kept making excuses and adding “new problems” each time.
• I later found out Roshan was using my car for personal use.
Finally, he charged me AED 2,200 (1500 + 700) and said everything was fixed. Unfortunately, within 3 days, my car stopped on the road, almost causing an accident. When I called Roshan again, there was no answer, no WhatsApp response.
I towed the car back to the workshop, and without testing, he told me “go for test drive, everything is fine”. But again, the car broke down the same day on the highway. When tried Roshan again no response on call & Whats up.
I then towed my car to another workshop in Dubai. The mechanic there confirmed that Qamar Al Khaleej had replaced some parts with second-hand ones, removed my original parts probably was ok, and even left one part disconnected. The Dubai workshop fixed my car properly within 6 hours, unlike the 10 days wasted at Qamar Al Khaleej.
They even though charge me an extra AED 1,100 for additional problems which were not real.
👉 Final Verdict:
Please avoid Qamar Al Khaleej Workshop (Industrial Area 17, Sharjah), especially do not deal with Roshan. He is not a mechanic, only interested in making money at the customer’s expense. When I asked for the owner’s number, Roshan argued and gave me a number that also didn’t respond.
This workshop’s behavior is unprofessional, careless, and unsafe. It cost me money, time, stress, and almost risked my job & life because I was without a car for 10 days and might have face accident because of stupid mechanic Roshan.
I’m going to complaint to Municipality about this works shop.
