Formal Complaint: Unethical Practices and Terrible Customer Service - Warning to Future Customers To Whom It May Concern at Indigo Rent a Car, I have been a loyal customer of Indigo for over 18 months, a relationship built solely on trust. This trust has been utterly shattered by your company's recent actions. Despite my impeccable history and the security deposit I provided in good faith, I was forced to pay for a mistake unequivocally made by indigo own staff. The subsequent customer service and follow-up were not just incompetent; they were a deliberate and disgraceful evasion of responsibility (i can except Temee of all managerial and executives). My experience serves as a critical warning to the public: Do not deal with Indigo Rent a Car. Unless you are prepared to document every single interaction from the first second and dissect your contract word-for-word with a legal expert, you are at severe risk. This company operates with a shocking duality: they present a friendly front as a rent-a-car office, but the moment an issue arises—no matter how small, even for a mere AED 100—they instantly transform into a predatory legal firm, weaponizing their "policies" against the very customers they claim to value . The stark contrast between the good experiences I once had and this profoundly mediocre and dishonest treatment of a trusting client is appalling. You were quick to take my money as a deposit but quicker still to screw me over when your own error needed to be rectified. This is not customer service; it is a scam disguised as a rental agreement. I will be ensuring my story is shared across all relevant consumer protection platforms and review sites to ensure no one else falls victim to this exploitative behavior. Consider this not just a complaint, but a testament to your company's failure.

INDIGO DUBAI RENT A CAR is a TOTAL SCAM! If you want to save yourself from stress and trouble STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I rented a car on January 18th, 2020 with them and returned on May 10th, although I wanted to return it on April 7th. They NEVER responded to my calls and texts when I wanted to return the car. Due to Covid-19 Dubai started a 24-hour mandatory lockdown from April 4th to 24th. Therefore, the car got stuck in my garage. The staff didn't tell me the day they returned to operate, they didn't responded to any of my texts except an automated text stating that they will reopen on April 18th, which was impossible due to lockdown. When I finally reached them and learnt that they are operating I returned the car to their branch (on May 10th). I paid all the toll expenses and asked the staff if there are any hidden costs. The staff said NO! They SAVED my credit card details and charged me 528USD without even calling, texting, or emailing me after two weeks of collecting the car, WHICH IS A FRAUD! I called them the day after and they REFUSED TO REFUND my money and told me that they charged the whole month the car stayed in my garage, because they started to re-operate on April 19th. ALSO, I still didn't get my deposit back yet. NEVER EVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! If I can give 0 stars I would do it. Such an UNTRUSTED, UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNETHICAL company.
