I purchased a 65-inch TV on November 1st from the Ibn Battuta store, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The TV was supposed to come with an HDMI cable, but when I asked if I could take it immediately, the consultant assured me it would be delivered with the TV the next day. Sure enough, the TV arrived the next day—without the HDMI cable. When I inquired about the missing cable, I was told it would be delivered within an hour. I ended up calling customer care seven times over the next few days. Each time, I was told to wait because it was “dispatched” or “on the way.” Today, on my seventh call, customer care finally admitted there was a mistake and delivery wasn’t possible for this item. They told me I’d have to go back to the shop to pick it up myself. Customer care here works worse than the in-store consultants! This will definitely be my last shopping experience with this store.
