I paid for a 6-month membership on 7th April, and just one day later, I showed up to find major renovation work underway in a large part of the gym. At no point during the signup process did anyone inform me about this ongoing construction. When I asked for a refund, it was denied. Instead, they offered to freeze my membership and assured me the renovation would be completed by 10–15 May. Based on that promise, I agreed and signed the membership form. Now, when I returned to start using the gym, I was told the renovation is still not finished and won’t be completed until mid-June. To make matters worse, if I choose to resume now, my membership will be counted from 8th April—essentially robbing me of an entire month I paid for without access. This is highly unprofessional and disappointing.
