Hubby and I tried this place for the first time last night, and it was a nice, casual experience. We ordered the falafel and chicken shawarma, both were okay, not bad but not super memorable. The falafel tasted more like plain chickpeas than the herby flavor I usually love. I was a bit excited about the Sulaimani tea, but it was served as simple black tea with mint and lemon on the side. Still, the place felt cozy and the staff were very warm and friendly, especially the Kabayan ladies. We might give it another try for their other dishes someday.

You have to try both chicken and meat shawarmas, a very popular menu item for only AED 5. Pair it off with the best avocado shake in town - a joy for AED 10.
