Best for: Value for money Dish to order: Grilled lobster If you don’t want to spend your weekend overindulging and then recovering from said overindulging, award-winning Italian restaurant Bussola offers a relaxed alternative. Every Saturday from 2pm to 5pm, out on the restaurant’s ground-floor terrace overlooking the hotel’s pool and beach, settle into three courses of chef’s specials with unlimited house wines, beers and house cocktails. Small Italian plates fill your table, with fresh mozzarella, vine tomatoes and basil, cured meats, cheeses, bruschetta, grilled octopus, fried calamari and smoked salmon to start, before larger sharing plates of grilled lobster, pasta Bolognese (they have gluten-free pasta on request too) and ribeye steak are brought over. For £50 all in, you won’t feel as pressured to get your money’s worth, plus this is a relaxed affair, so as the afternoon comes to an end, you’ll be ordering your last Negroni to accompany the tiramisu and fruit platter to finish despite the live DJ turning up the tunes.
