I am writing to express my sheer disappointment with the car rental services provided by silfdrive company. After just seven months of enduring repeated unexplained charges , I decided to return the car. I ironed out the final bill with customer service who assured me that all would be settled promptly and will recive my refund in 30 days. Now, here we are, on the tail end of 50 days of waiting for a refund that seems more like a mythical creature than an owed reimbursement. To my surprise, the most unprofessional individual from the refund department contacted me, openly disregarding my concerns, seeking any excuse to sucker more money out of me for imagined, non-rental charges. 😤 This gentleman promised to rectify my issue within 30 minutes, only to charge me later from my account with an additional hefty charge even without calling me back. Could you believe, he had the audacity to claim ignorance of my finalized bill agreed upon with his colleagues and asserted he's the boss? An unjustifiable aggressive approach to say the least. Despite my efforts, trying to visits thier office and numerous calls were fruitless. I tried to lodge a complaint, hoping for some justice, but alas, no one seemed to hear my plight. I demanded a callback from anyone from management incessantly, through calls and email, yet was met with deafening silence. Ultimately, that so-called "Boss" rang me back, providing the option of sending him an email, which he would "graciously" approve for me. The catch? A two-day deadline for his response. I adhered to this, and surprise, surprise, all I was greeted with was the news that the individual had conveniently taken a holiday. Fast forward 10 days, the same "boss" informs me that my request was dismissed, and he had no intention of aiding me further. 😡 The appalling lack of respect for customers revealed an ugly side of your company's operations. I have dealt with numerous rent-a-car companies in my lifetime, but never have I experienced such abominable treatment. It appears that your UAE branches are a phantom presence, making it impossible for customers to demand justice. This seems like an elaborate hoax designed to shield department supervisors who wield unchecked power. The customers, hostage to your whims, are left in utter frustration.
