Worst health insurance experience despite having the highest plan (N1). I am extremely disappointed with DubaiCare Health Insurance. Despite being on their highest plan (N1), the service has been consistently poor and unacceptable. My medical approvals have been repeatedly and unjustifiably rejected. I am entitled to radiological investigations with a 20% co-payment, yet DubaiCare made it nearly impossible for me to obtain approval. I waited over one month for a CT chest scan that was clinically indicated for a persistent chest infection and cough. Instead, I was forced to undergo a chest X-ray first, exposing me to additional and unnecessary radiation. Even after the X-ray, the CT scan was again declined, despite repeated requests from my treating clinician, who eventually became exhausted from continuously following up with them. I have had similar repeated issues of approvals in the past as well. Customer service is extremely poor. The agents are unhelpful and unresponsive—every call ends with “we have made a note,” but no follow-up ever happens. On one occasion, the agent (who claimed to be a doctor) hung up on me. When I requested to speak to a supervisor, this was flatly refused. I also requested a refund, which was completely ignored. For a premium insurance plan, this level of service is unacceptable. I would strongly advise against choosing DubaiCare, as the stress, delays, and lack of accountability make it one of the worst insurance experience I have ever had.
