Let me begin by saying this: please think twice before choosing this garage for vehicle service or anything else.
I initially approached Brightway Motors regarding a job opportunity. During my first visit, I was promised that they would provide me a visa if I joined their company. Based on this assurance, I joined the company and within two weeks, they submitted my visa application – apparently after observing my performance.
Later, I realized it was all a trap.
They would take money from customers by claiming repairs or services that weren’t even done. In many cases, they claimed the vehicle needed a complete oil change, but only partially replaced the oil – or didn’t replace it at all – and still charged full price. When customers questioned the service, they used me as a scapegoat and put the blame on me, which I found very unfair.
As days passed, they forced me to edit bills and submit VAT in a way that could get both them and me in trouble with the Dubai government. When I refused to do this, they stopped paying me – not even giving money for food. My salary for two months was withheld. I stayed there under someone else’s expense for a while.
When it came time for the VAT submissions and I still refused to be part of their illegal practices, they abruptly canceled my visa and locked me in the company for two days, leading to an overstay. I didn’t receive a single dirham as compensation or support.
