I visited this salon for a manicure and was absolutely shocked by the attitude of the administrator and the manager at the reception. They started talking to me like we were friends, which was already unprofessional, and then they suddenly changed the price I was booked for!
I had confirmed via message about their October discount offer, and nowhere was it mentioned that it was for walk-ins only. I came for the 60 AED offer, but when I arrived, they told me it was actually 130 AED and tried to push me to add a French manicure and other extras. It was ridiculous. I had to literally fight to get the service for the original 60 AED.
Then, they ignored me for a long time, the salon was dirty, and the lady at the reception (a full-figured girl from Kazakhstan) was extremely rude — she didn’t even look at me, spoke coldly, and showed zero respect. After waiting about 20 minutes, I was finally called for my manicure with an Indian technician.
I thought a “Russian salon” would at least prioritize hygiene, but I was wrong. The technician started using a nail file that was clearly used many times before — as a nail master myself, I know exactly what that means. The worst part was when she took a drill bit straight from another master’s machine right after she finished with a previous client, blew on it, and inserted it into her own device!
When I asked if she was serious, she said, “It’s clean and sterile.” I insisted she use properly sterilized tools from a sealed package. She then said she’d just put them in a dry-heat sterilizer for a minute — I couldn’t believe it. That’s not sterilization! At that point, I just decided to leave.
