I have visited this veterinary clinic twice, and unfortunately, both experiences left me with the strong impression that this clinic is not focused on genuinely helping animals, but rather on selling as many services and products as possible without properly understanding the actual problem. Here is why: First Visit – Unnecessary Treatment and Questionable Advice During my first visit, I brought my dog in because I noticed small red spots on her skin. They were not bothering her at all—no itching, no discomfort—but I wanted to have them checked. Instead of a careful and conservative approach, the veterinarian aggressively picked at the spots, removing scabs and even pulling out fur, which was completely unnecessary. I was then given unrealistic advice, such as limiting my dog’s walks only to parking areas and avoiding parks, grass, and even fresh air exposure in order to “test” for allergies. This is not practical, especially in a city like Dubai, where dogs need outdoor walks. Despite me clearly stating multiple times that my dog had no itching, the veterinarian repeatedly insisted on prescribing anti-itch medication. After reading about the medication at home, I discovered that one of its possible side effects is actually itching, which made the prescription even more questionable. Additionally, I was advised to purchase an antiseptic spray, even though I had already explained that I was treating the spots at home with an antiseptic. A follow-up visit was also recommended, which I chose not to attend, as the condition resolved completely on its own without any of the prescribed treatments. None of the advice or products provided were necessary.
