I want to alert everyone about Equity Call Center Services LLC (Business Bay, Lake Central Tower, Office 606) and an individual named Mr. Gowtham Gongineni. He is running an investment scam by approaching Telugu-speaking expats via WhatsApp. His pitch: invest AED 5,000+ and get 40–50% weekly returns guaranteed. I trusted him and invested. Since July 2025, I have not received my money back. Despite repeated requests from me and my wife (even explaining this was for my child’s school fees), he kept delaying with excuses. At one point, he even mocked me saying: “Go give a police complaint, what will they do? I will just say it’s a loan and I will repay later.” After more than 100 calls, he reluctantly returned only AED 1,000 and continues to withhold the rest. He has refused to provide receipts, company management contacts, or official documents. This is a clear financial fraud, and I am filing a complaint with Dubai Police. Please be aware and do not fall victim to such scams.
