If there is lower than a 1-star, this is what Al Noor Building deserves. The Landlord deliberately delays the refund. 60 days after we have moved out, and 50 days after we have submitted the final bills, our security deposit is yet to be refunded. Numerous email follow-ups to Betterhomes (real estate) without response. I needed to regularly call in order to speak with the agent just to receive blank answers. I even received a threat that they can further delay the refund! All of these despite the fact that we have agreed to an overpriced hard cleaning charges to be deducted from our deposit not considering that the flat was well-maintained with regular weekly deep cleaning from our side for 3 years! Additionally, our AC often breaks down every 3 mos or less! No maintenance services during holidays and weekends, hence we suffered in scorching heat until the next working days when the technicians are available not to fix, but to start working. It took another couple of days when parts were needed to be replaced. Furthermore, whenever we needed to dispose some of our furniture, we were advised to throw it beside the bin located on the opposite road of our building else, we had to cut the furniture into small pieces so we can dispose within our building. What a nuissance! Hence, I DO NOT recommend renting out a flat in this building. Moving to another flat with a considerate and just Landlord, fair market price, timely maintenance services, and with available facilities (swimming pool, gym, and parking) was the best decision we have made.
