I lived in Hamad Tower, Barsha South 3. The building and its facilities are good. However, the management is the worst in all cases. They were trying to deduct all the money from the security deposit, which is an illegal and unprofessional practice. They know that the cost of going to RERA would be the same as the security deposit. Hope, my review will help someone in the future. What I received from them by email: “When we lease out the units we do a fresh coat of paints and the cleaning after that. There are spots which need minor touch ups in bits and pieces. Which is not possible so we have to do a full coat paint and then cleaning. As a good will gesture we shall take special discount update accordingly.” Don’t be cheated as according to RERA: “At the conclusion of the lease contract, the tenant has the right to reclaim their security deposit provided they return the leased property in the same condition as it was when initially received. According to the law, it is mandatory to collect a security deposit from the tenant when entering into the lease agreement to ensure the proper maintenance of the property throughout the contract period. Subsequent to the contract's termination, the landlord is obligated to return this security deposit or the remaining portion thereof to the tenant. It is important to note that comprehensive cleaning and painting of the interior walls upon the tenant's departure is typically the responsibility of the owner, as it is a customary practice and not the tenant's obligation”.
